1. Inquiry and Contract Closing
- Please send me an inquiry via this contact form.
- I will send you a detailed questionnaire based on your needs. Please fill and submit back.
- After receiving the answer, I will estimate the production price and send you a quote. The start date will be discussed in this phase, too.
- If you agree with the quote, I will send you an invoice for the upfront fee (30% of the total price). Please proceed with the payment by the previous day of the start date.
(For the detailed information about the payment methods and due, please read “4-2. Payment” section.) - Once the payment is received, the project will start.
2. Initial Meeting and Preparation
On the start date, we will have an initial meeting online. A video call will be expected.
In the meeting, we will discuss:
- The objective, concepts, and details of your business and your project
- Detailed workflow (who will do what at each phase)
- Schedule (milestones, due, etc.)
3. Production
3-1. Draft Design
- I will make and deliver draft design(s) to you, such as:
- Website/webpage wireframes
- Rough sketches
- Storyboards
- Please review the draft, and send me feedback.
- If the draft needs to be changed, continue 3-1-1 and 3-1-2 until it fixes.
3-2. Production
- I will make and share the polished design and/or page(s) with you, such as:
- Detailed design of a website/webpage
- Website/webpage development in a test environment
- Refined design
- Edited video
- Please review the product. Depending on the project, we will use one or more of these methods to give feedback:
- Chat (Slack, Chatwork)
- Video call (Google Meets)
- Annotation platform (Figma, etc.)
- If the product needs to be refined, continue 3-2-1 and 3-2-2 until it fixes.
* An additional fee may be charged in the case of exceeding amount of major retakes than what we agreed on in the estimate phase or when minor retakes happen too many times.
4. Delivery and Payment
4-1. Delivery
I will finalize and deliver the finalized product to you, such as:
- A published website/webpage
- Image file
- Print-ready design file
- Video and subtitle files
Depending on the contract, I will also deliver you the final version of the work data, such as:
- Source file (e.g., PSD, AI, AE, Pr)
- Non-modified asset files
If there is no issue with the delivered product and work data, the project ends.
4-2. Payment
After the project ends, I will send you an invoice. Please pay the rest of the price by the due date.
Below are the default payment due and the acceptable payment options:
- Due date: The end of the next month after the project end date
(e.g., when the project ends on 8 February, the payment due date will be 31 March)- If the payment date is Saturday, Sunday, or a holiday in the payer’s region, the due date will be on the previous weekday.
- Payment methods: Bank transfer (via SWIFT or a Japanese bank account)
- If you choose Japanese bank transfer, please use the regular transfer method. I don’t accept Kotora Soukin.
